We’re Open!

  • By appointment year‑round (call 410‑476‑4857)
  • April through November: 1st & 2nd Saturdays, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

With advance notice, members are welcome to bring samples of ancestor handwriting—ideally dated or approximately dated. You may discover fascinating insights into your ancestor’s personality through their penmanship!

Plants Sale: May 910 a.m.–2 p.m. This is the day before Mother’s Day – Be Prepared.  Preorders – call 410-476-4857

Friends & Visitors Day – Saturday, June 6, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Join friends, neighbors, and all who’d enjoy:

  • Learning more about Trappe’s history and community
  • Listening to live music
  • Browsing local vendors
  • Enjoying a bite to eat
  • Picking up a baked treat to take home
  • Or simply spending time with us!

Annual Meeting – November 17, 6 pm at the Trappe Volunteer Firehouse. Refreshment & Fun as we honor those who have been special helps to the museum during the prior year.

Cookies with Santa – Saturday, December 5, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Free, Fun, Family Photo Op!

New Features

A clock that was left at the museum during Covid Is now on display. It is the clock from the Trappe High School made by the predecessor of IBM. The school bells were controlled by the clock. Read about it here.
